Welcome to acreage living at its finest location in Blind Bay. Room to roam with 150 feet of waterfront, large dock with boat wips and 1 bouy to secure your boat. Pristine setting on the southern shore of the Shuswap lake, Blind Bay, for a well-deserved Shuswap vacation.
We offer a beautiful home with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a beautiful office, 2 acres of land, large deck with stunning views of the Shuswap lake.
This property offers partial fenced yard for children and a pet. Fire pit in the yard or on the beach (following fire regulations), private 150 feet beachfront, steps away with dark and buoy. Also a party dock right in front, equipped with a slide and picnic table. Boat launch is only two minutes away. A families paradise.
Short short five minute walk brings you to a public beach with designated swim area and picnic tables, to enjoy another location. They offer swimming lessons during the month of August, if you were looking for a fun activity for your children at the lake.
Ample parking in the yard. If you would like your extra family to come join you, there is another spot for RV parking with water and power for an extra $75 a night.
Golf lover, you’re in luck! Shuswap Lake Estates golf course is 3.2 km up the road for your enjoyment.

Summary: We had a great time at the lake property, this is our second year at this location. The house and grounds are so beautiful and well maintained. There was 11 in our group of all age ranges and we still had lots of room. The kids have an absolute blast at the waterfront, spend a good portion of the days there due to the very hot weather this year. There's lots to do in the area if you like to explore, personally I love the giant deck and waterfront so I don't wander too far if at all. A great place to relax or get busy, whatever your preference.

Summary: A lovely home. The house was spacious for a large group. The deck and grounds were well kept and made for lots of room to relax and play. The kitchen was well equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent and helpful. The beach is private with 2 large docks. Bringing a boat was no problem.

Summary: The girls collected eggs and had them for breakfast. The girls enjoyed the play center and the beach. The boat rental was 4 minutes away and fabulous. Shannon has great taste, the children’s books were a hit and suitable for our girls (4-10)

Summary: First of all - Shannon the host had amazing communication. It was super helpful to understand the property. There was tons of room outside for the kids to explore & play. The dock and party dock with the slide was great for the kids aged 6-12 The house was beautiful & well kept. Nice open door concept for visiting on the main floor. The deck was spacious & there was a fire ban so they provided a propane fire pit & tons of marshmallows were consumed. Everything we could have asked for & more. Great dock toys too- we left some to add to the collection for our next visit. 😉 And there were tons of small fish right off the dock & that means we got some big ones too. We will be back. Thank you for the relaxing holiday. ❤️

Summary: Had a great time at this property, very spacious, clean and well laid out. Sits on a couple of acres of land so lots of room for the kids to play outside and inside if the weather turned rainy. The house is really nice and roomy with a huge deck area. I think I spent most of my time either on the deck or down by the lake. (there's private lake frontage with the property with a dock) I think the host undersells how nice this place is, the pictures actually don't do it justice, you have to see it to appreciate it. Perhaps better to be surprised than disappointed :) The check in and out was really easy and the host was very attentive and helpful with information as requested. The area is very attractive with lots of nearby activities, we rented boats and sea-doo's from the local marina which is a short walk away, great service from the marina staff also. All in all a great week in a great location in a great property. Definitely on my list to revisit if I get the opportunity.

Summary: Our family of 6 adults and two dogs had lots of space, amazing views, short walk across the street to the private lake (quiet private area). House is well maintained, Great Lake getaway! Shannon is an amazing host, great communication, very helpful and the home is well stocked (we just needed to get groceries and then relax). Deck is a great space to relax watch the sunset and stars! Lots of run around space for the dogs. Thank you Shannon for the such a wonderful experience!

Summary: Our stay at Shannon's was amazing. The house itself is very nice, clean and spacious. The property has lots of room for activities, is very well maintained and has amazing views of the lake. The lake is just a short walk away and has a private beach area and great boat access. My family is already talking about booking for next summer

Summary: the home is gorgeous, photos do not do it justice at all. everything you need was available cooking for large group of family. comfortable beds, kids loved the chickens and rabbits. large yard to play in. lake was relatively warm, end of the season so expected it to be a little chilly however once in it was great. only downside is that the property is not lakefront as expected, the property is divided by main road, so transporting gear and kids for the day little difficult. view from deck was amazing, great property.

Summary: Shannon and family were amazing hosts. Right from the start, communication was fantastic and anything we needed while on the property was quickly assisted with. The photos don't do the property justice, the kitchen is beautiful and open to the living area. In addition there is a downstairs area perfect for the kids to hangout and be kids while the adults socialize in the kitchen and deck. You do have a short walk across the street and down to the beach, however it is a very secluded and private area perfect for kids to go swimming and hanging out. We had a great time and look forward to future visits.

Summary: There was 10 of us total ranging in ages 9-42 and all had a great time. The house was spacious and well cared for with lots of room for outdoor activities when we were not enjoying the lake. Shannon was very helpful and kind which always makes the experience. We did not feel like anything was missing and we have no complaints. One thing to be aware of is that a road crossing is necessary to reach the private waterfront and dock. The idea bothered us a little at first but our youngest was 9 so it was no big deal at all and we got used to it. The advantage with the road crossing is that it allows for a larger lot as the property is not bumped up against a road behind it, which is usually the case with lake front properties. Thanks for a wonderful stay, and we would definitely rent here again!
